Why did you want to become an author or illustrator?

I have wanted to write since I was young. I love putting words down and seeing a story take shape. As I got older, I had a bigger draw to writing becuase I believed that I had knowledge would benefit others, and I felt like I needed to share it.

Do you have any advice for future authors or illustrators?

My advice to future authors or illustrators is to be open to new paths. The direction of opportunities might not always line up with the vision you imagined, but if you are open, you’ll find chances you hadn’t considered!
