Author: Annette M. Clayton

With a father from Puerto Rico and an Irish mother, Annette M. Clayton grew up in a lively and diverse household. She has a master’s degree in writing for children and young adults and has published over twenty-five books with more on the way. Annette lives in Maryland with her family.

Illustrator: Carolina Vázquez

Carolina Vázquez is a freelance kidlit illustrator based in Buenos Aires, Argentina. She graduated from Palermo University with a degree in illustration design in 2021. Since then, she has been working on children’s illustration projects such as picture books, magazines and board games. She enjoys working mainly digitally, creating magical, nature-themed illustrations with cute characters and working with color and light to create an atmosphere that’ll immerse the viewer in the story.
