Author: Sue Fliess
Sue Fliess is the author of over forty children’s books including Flash and Gleam: Light in Our World, Goldilocks and the Three Engineers, Sadie Sprocket Builds a Rocket, Beatrice Bly’s Rules for Spies series and more. Her background is in copywriting, public relations, art, and marketing, and her essays have appeared in O the Oprah Magazine, Huffington Post, Writer’s Digest, and more. Her picture books have received honors from the Society of Children’s Books Writers and Illustrators, have been used in school curricula, museum educational programs, and have even been translated into multiple languages. Illustrator: Khoa Le
Khoa Le has illustrated picture books published in a number of different countries, including the 2020 Sydney Taylor Honor book Miriam at the River. She is also an author, a graphic designer, and a painter. Khoa has a passion for travel, an eagerness to learn about different cultures, and a desire to discover the beauty of the world. Her inner moth makes her attracted to any source of light, but her dream is to one day see the northern lights. She lives in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam, with her five cats.
