Brynn Olenberg Sugarman graduated from SUNY Binghamton with a BA in Creative Writing and from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem with an MA in English Literature. She is the author of “Rebecca’s Journey Home,” an award-winning picture book. Brynn lives with her husband and three children in Ra’anana, Israel, close to the sparkling Mediterranean Sea.

Michelle Shapiro’s whimsical characters and beautiful colors have appeared in many publications around the country including The New York Times and the Atlanta Journal and Constitution. She is the illustrator of Rebecca’s Journey Home, a Sydney Taylor Honor award winner. She lives with her family in Santa Barbara, CA.
