Come to my arms, my beamish boy!
O frabjous day! Callooh! Callay!”

Who are your top three favorite authors or illustrators?

My top three children’s authors are Hannah Gold, David McKee and Andy Stanton.

Why did you want to become an author or illustrator?

I loved writing stories from a young age and I never stopped! I feel very lucky that writing is now my full-time job. I love spending my days dreaming up new people, places and adventures.

Do you have any advice for future authors or illustrators?

If you’re writing stories now then congratulations, you’re already an author! My top tips would be to keep a notebook handy in case a good idea pops into your head unexpectedly, and read as much as you can. Reading is the best way to become a better writer.
