Why did you want to become an author or illustrator?

I wanted to share my art with as many children as possible with the hope of influencing some through my art the same way I was influenced by the art and stories I read as a child.

Do you have any advice for future authors or illustrators?

Be true to yourself, but also work very hard to get your work out there.
