Cover: Explore Space Stations

“Imagine living and studying in a space station. The author includes general information and features of several space stations, including the Salyut 1, Mir, International Space Station, Tiangong, and Gateway. Brief descriptions share how the stations are used, how they operate, and what may be in store for the future. Color photographs with labels or captions are found throughout the book. A diagram labels some of the major sections of a space station. At the back of the book is a glossary and an index. Also, readers will find a resource list comprised of books and websites; be sure to check out the NASA: International Station Tour site for videos of the space station’s interior. Children interested in space will probably be fascinated by the stations and will want to explore items on the resource list. Teachers may wish to use this book or the entire “Exploring Space” series as a supplement to a study unit on space. The series includes exploring rockets, rovers, satellites, space probes, and telescopes. Reviewer Rating: 4" —Children’s Literature
