Editorial Review
School Library Journal

“These titles focus on each continent’s natural features, highlight many of its animals, and present a brief overview of the people. Useful information is presented in an enjoyable style. Different size fonts and background colors are used to break up the text and add visual interest. Introductory questions will entice children to read on. Each spread includes one to four illustrations and a line or two of large-print text (‘Asia contains Earth’s highest mountains, the Himalayas’) that is elaborated on in a few lines of smaller print text. The well-labeled color photographs are a major asset to each book. . . A final page includes a topographical map; there are no political maps. Students will need to use other resources to locate countries, states, or territories mentioned in Asia. . . [T]hese books will attract browsers.”
