Ilana R. Wieder received her M.F.A. from UC Davis. After many years of working as an actress, Ilana began telling stories through playwriting, stage directing, and writing for children. Why did you want to become an author or illustrator?
Creating stories and sharing knowledge through these stories has always been my passion.
Do you have any advice for future authors or illustrators?
You must LOVE writing and creating and you must cultivate a thick skin and a lot of patience. But if you stick around long enough, you will see your hard work coming to fruition.
