Why did you want to become an author or illustrator?

I’ve always wanted to be an author! Before I could write, I dictated stories to my mom. She wrote them down, and then I illustrated them.

Do you have any advice for future authors or illustrators?

Find a group of other writers! Meet up, share work, and encourage each other.
