Why did you want to become an author or illustrator?
I love drawing and I love telling stories and illustration allows me to do both of those things. Even in periods where I have been doing a completely different job, the desire to make pictures that tell stories is always there.
Do you have any advice for future authors or illustrators?
Draw, draw and draw some more. Get into the habit of writing everything down and carry a sketchbook with you – you never know when inspiration might strike!
