What was your favorite book when you were a child?
Growing up I loved Henry and Ribsy by Beverly Cleary, and Little Women by Louisa May Alcott
Who are your top three favorite authors or illustrators?
Katherine Paterson, Beverly Cleary, EB White. I love the illustrations of Marla Frazee.
Why did you want to become an author or illustrator?
I have always been an avid reader and storyteller. My professional career began as a dancer, another form of telling a story.
