Olivia Vieweg

What was your favorite book when you were a child?
I wasn’t much of a reader but I enjoyed a very gruesome dinosaur book when I was little.
Who are your top three favorite authors or illustrators?
Rumiko Takahashi, Mohiro Kitoh, Naoki Urasawa—all Japanese Manga artists who happen to illustrate their own books :)
Why did you want to become an author or illustrator?
I’m always daydreaming stories. Sometimes it’s important for me to write or draw them.
Do you have any advice for future authors or illustrators?
Never get tired of learning! Try out new styles and techniques, learn from the best, if possible.
