Interview
What was your favorite book when you were a child?
Calvin and Hobbes was an endless source of inspiration for me. I never grew tired of the art or the writing.
Who are your top three favorite authors or illustrators?
Bill Watterson, Rumiko Takahashi, Yukito Kishiro
Why did you want to become an author or illustrator?
I’ve always wanted to create worlds. When I learned I couldn’t become a mad scientist, an artist/storyteller became the next best thing!
Do you have any advice for future authors or illustrators?
You must enjoy what you do. If you don’t, even the simplest task will become unbearable.
