Why did you want to become an author or illustrator?
I’ve always had a love for books, even as a child I spent summers reading and staying up past bed time to finish a book. I wrote my own stories growing up, but it wasn’t until I had my own children that I wanted this as a career.
Do you have any advice for future authors or illustrators?
Don’t stop writing! Even if your book doesn’t get published, you grow as a writer with each book and learn something from getting those words down on the page and editing them.
