Who are your top three favorite authors or illustrators?
Meg Hunt, Tiago Americo, and Yuko Shimizu
Why did you want to become an author or illustrator?
I had been drawing my whole life and it had never occurred to me that it could also be my career, until my art teacher encouraged me to study illustration at a time when I felt very lost. Pursuing my passion was the best decision I ever made and even though it can be hard work, I love every minute of it!
Do you have any advice for future authors or illustrators?
Keep working at it! Create something as often as you can and keep developing your skills—you never stop growing and learning.
