What was your favorite book when you were a child?
I was a huge fan of both the Goosebumps series by R. L. Stine and the Redwall series by Brian Jacques.
Who are your top three favorite authors or illustrators?
Bram Stoker, Stephen King, and Christopher Moore
Why did you want to become an author or illustrator?
I have always enjoyed telling stories and entertaining those around me. Becoming an author gave me the opportunity to reach a much larger audience. The more people I can entertain, the better.
Do you have any advice for future authors or illustrators?
Practice every day. Write a story. Write a journal. Write a list of things you can see right now. Do it as much as you can, as often as you can. Practice, practice, practice.
