What was your favorite book when you were a child?

I was a voracious reader. I read Jack London, Tolkien, C. S. Lewis, Judy Blume, and many, many others.

Linda Sue Park, Alvin Schwartz, Lois Lowry

Why did you want to become an author or illustrator?

I always loved a good story.
