Richard Watson
Richard Watson spent many of his younger years drawing medieval knights, dragons, and entire comic books inspired by his love of reading. He studied illustration at Lincoln University and lives in the north of England.

Who are your top three favorite authors or illustrators?
Roald Dahl, Quentin Blake and Lane Smith.
Why did you want to become an author or illustrator?
I have always loved reading and drawing from when I was very young, I was particularly inspired by the characters and stories created by Roald Dahl.
Do you have any advice for future authors or illustrators?
Keep at it, try and remain positive and creative, and keep a sketchbook.
