Constanza Basaluzzo was born in Argentina where she still lives with her husband and kitten. In her spare time she enjoys reading (especially children’s books), and visiting toy stores.

What was your favorite book when you were a child?: Alice in Wonderland
What’s your favorite line from a book?: “It is only with the heart that one can see rightly; what is essential is invisible to the eye.”
Who are your top three favorite authors or illustrators?: Maurice Sendak, Maria Hesse, Rebeca Luciani
Why did you want to become an author or illustrator?: I always loved to be connected with childhood because it is magic and a very creative stage and to illustrate books for children in somehow is like to be a kid again.
Do you have any advice for future authors or illustrators?: Keep trying and never give up, while you find your own way you will also be finding your own style. Follow your dreams!
