Interview

What was your favorite book when you were a child?

I was a ravenous reader. Among my favorites were the Little House on the Prairie series, which I’m re-reading to my daughter and enjoying just as much as an adult. The book Bridge to Terebithia made a big impression on me. I probably read The Hobbit half a dozen times

Who are your top three favorite authors or illustrators?

Laura Ingalls Wilder, A.A. Milne, Maruice Sendak…oh and of course Dr. Seuss.

Why did you want to become an author or illustrator?

Because I love to read so much I wanted to create books for others, and because I want to share my experiences of living in Israel and interacting with nature.

Do you have any advice for future authors or illustrators?

Read a lot and think about why you like certain books more than others.
