What was your favorite book when you were a child?
Adopted Jane. It is a very old book about a girl who had to make a very difficult choice. I think it read it at least a dozen times.
What’s your favorite line from a book?
There are too many good ones to pick just one.
Who are your top three favorite authors or illustrators?
Judy Blume is my standalone favorite.
Why did you want to become an author or illustrator?
Growing up, I wanted to be an astronaut, an author, an actress, or a hair stylist. Being an author just worked out the best. I have always loved making up stories.
