Interview

What was your favorite book when you were a child?

The Cat in the Hat. Though I relished The Wind in the Willows as an adolescent.

Who are your top three favorite authors or illustrators?

Far too many to name, but Dr. Seuss is a perennial favorite.

Why did you want to become an author or illustrator?

To allow me to make pictures as a living, and to share my work in book form.

Do you have any advice for future authors or illustrators?

Take time to figure out the type of work you want to make for each project, and enjoy yourself as you work.
