Accounts Receivable Administrator

Manages accounts receivable, including key customer relationships and other related support functions.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Manage complex and/or major customer accounts, including payments, credits, collections, and all other activity
    1. Includes relationship management with key customers making up a significant portion of the company’s AR balance
    2. Reconcile accounts regularly, no less than monthly, to maintain accurate financial recordkeeping
    3. Research any discrepancies with the customer and/or internally depending on the situation
    4. Confer with Customer Service and/or Sales as needed
  2. Coordinate bank deposits and process in A/R, daily
    1. Includes electronic deposits, both foreign and domestic, and paper deposits
    2. Record payments to AR system accurately and in a timely manner
  3. Oversee credit and collections activity
    1. Including calls and correspondence, weekly and as needed
    2. Manage customer holds daily
    3. Manage monthly statement preparation and mailings
    4. Manage weekly collections meeting and follow up, including supporting staff on collection tasks and informing Controller and other staff on account status
    5. Verify credit for new customers
  4. Respond to credit reference queries on behalf of our customers
  5. Send out W-9s and other forms to customers to those that request them
  6. Answer queries into accounts receivable
  7. Assist with other AR duties as determined by Controller
  8. Perform other related business duties assigned by immediate supervisor and/or other management as required.

Experience and Necessary Skills:
High level of accuracy and detail required, as well as efficiency and conscientiousness. Strong organizational, prioritization, and interpersonal skills. Prior accounting experience, AR experience strongly preferred. Math and English language competency required. Requires Microsoft Excel proficiency.


  1. Associates degree in Accounting or equivalent experience
