Linda Tagliaferro

Linda Tagliaferro is the award-winning author of 43 books for young children, young adults, and adults.

Several of her books were included in Bank Street College’s Best Books of the Year, and her Galapagos Islands was chosen as an Outstanding Science Trade Book for Children by the National Science Teachers Association and the Children’s Book Council, as well as a Society of School Librarians International Book Awards Honor Book. Linda was born in Brooklyn, and has also lived in Manhattan and Staten Island, New York. She now resides in Queens, the largest borough of New York City. She has traveled the world and lived in Denmark, Italy, and Indonesia. She does frequent school talks and both educates and entertains with her interactive workshops that include her specialty as an artist.
